This year for Oregon Battle of the Books (OBOB) my fifth grade team is
called the Cookie Monsters. On Monday of this week we won our battle
against another team in our class-we had already beaten them and the
other team once so we were the class winners and earned the great pizza
party.
The battle was long and hard and it just so happened that the day it mattered most I was gone, but luckily my sub Ava was great! After FIVE tie breakers going back and forth from team to team the Cookie Monsters finally pulled ahead and won! By just half a point!
