"It's an End of an Era"

SCHOOL IS OUT!

My 5th grade year is officially over and soon I will be heading on to the next chapter in life (or Era), middle school!

Although many of my friends are going to differing  middle schools I know I will have a great year, and make new friends.

ACMA, here I come...

Summer is coming...

Only 16 days left of school!!!

Signal to Noise finalist

At school we were working on signal to noise (see down below), just today we got the results of the finalists. It was good news, really good news, 6/7 of my class's videos are finalists including both of mine! On May 10th we are going to the signal to noise academy awards and the winners will be announced. It was a great experience and I had so much fun so if we don't win, it's not that bad.

Signal to Noise

By: Ellie Younger

Hundreds of students representing over 36 schools enter a video in a contest to have the best moving image each year. This contest is called Signal to Noise...

For some years now Mrs. Krueger’s class has been entering their videos to Signal to Noise in various categories, animation, comedy, drama, music video and public service announcement are examples of these. This year Mrs. Krueger came up with a better idea, a way to try something new!

All four of the fifth grade classes are currently working on a writing is... themed music video. The songs “Ice, Ice Baby”, “Beat it”, and “I Will Survive” were revised to be “Write, Write Baby”, “Edit” and “I Will Revise”. Now the songs are focused on writing just like the fifth graders. They will be recorded with the song “Unwritten” at a school assembly and sent into Signal to Noise for shot at the prize.
